My Little Cities by Jennifer Adams, pictures by Greg Pizzoli

My Little Cities is a board book quartet (or series?) by Jennifer Adams with illustrations by the marvelous Greg Pizzoli. Simple, elegant and out of the ordinary, the My Little Cities book use rhyming couplets, sometimes opposites, to describe the sights of the city. Pizzoli's illustrations are brighty and chunky, with details big enough to draw in little listeners. As 2017 comes to a close, tiny armchair travelers can visit Paris, London, New York City and San Francisco. Iconic and not-so-iconic landmarks and happenings, like the Shakespeare & Co. bookstore in Paris and peaceful marches in San Francisco. Maybe you travel, maybe you travel with your kids or maybe you always wanted to travel and want to raise a traveler. Whatever your reasons, My Little Cities are beautifully made board books about things worth reading about!
