Bedtime, Ted! by Sophy Henn

Last year, Sophy Henn's picture book Pass It On completely enchanted me. As a fan of board books, I knew I had to get my hands on Bedtime, Ted!, which is as playfully adorable as I expected. Big flaps to lift on each page reveal Ted's reasons for not answering the call of, "Bedtime, Ted!" Please note that interior images from the book are photographs taken by me and the color is not nearly as vibrant as the actual book itself.
Ted always has something to do, whether it's splashing in the tub with penguins, brushing teeth with crocodiles or getting the wiggles out with a kangaroo and a few soccer balls, among other things, Ted has a lot to do before bedtime. But, when he finally is ready to be tucked in, the final flap lifts to reveal Ted in bed with all his stuffed animals, the same (big) animals he was playing with while avoiding bedtime. Little readers (and little hands) will definitely find Bedtime, Ted! irresistible and insist on having it read again and again.

Coming this fall!
